You could use this method to record yahoo launch, youtube, television shows (sound effects), online radio, flash videos anything with sound on your pc you can record. I used the sound recorders but I think you can use audacity to record. I like this way better. At the end I pick 56kbps MP3 because that will be an acceptable quality for a phone - probably close to radio quality audio. You could chose up to 128, I'm not sure, I doubt youtube/launch/ect uses audio of higher quality than 128.
To send it to your phone - lookup the method to transfer depending on
carrier: bluetooth, usb, emailing to your phone, texting to your phone
ect...
