Seems my Canon PowerShot S400 (dated: 2003) is having CCD problems because Sony sold Canon CCDs that can become damaged rather easily and cause distorted images. Called Canon and they're fixing it for free! Paying shipping. There's a chance I might get a updated refurb! Heres a few samples, one looks sort of like a face.
